Well well, be prepared for the unexpected! I was on my way to the dentist to get my permanent crown and surprise! In the middle lane of Interstate 5 my car lost power dash lights communicating bad thing like CHECK HYBRID. Managed to drift to the edge of the freeway and called my husband.

Me: “Hi, I’m ok. Car died on i5; please call the dentist and let him know I have to reschedule.”

Husband: “Don’t be silly! I’ll be right there; you can take my car to them dentist.”

So, I called the Auto Club, explained the circumstances, jumped into the spousal unit’s car and made it to the dentist in time to have my smile brightened!

So, I was at work on Thursday busily pumping towards a print deadline when I see a gmail notification whiz by…

Wait, iPad? What? Amazon order confirmation for white wifi 16gb ipad2!

Oh oh…

A little background: for our birthdays (we were both born October 25) I got us both a new iPhone 4S and then as a capper, bought one for my mom when she came out to visit before her birthday. So I am into Sprint for closing in on $1,000 and remain steadfastly resolute in my “adult” position that I do not want or need an iPad. I have a MacBook Air, new ipad3 is rumored soon, can’t justify the expense, etc.

If you have taken one of my UCSD HTML, Web Design or Information Architecture classes, this name will be familiar to you!

If you worked with me at National University, you probably expected me to call this blog “The Sugar Shack” but now it’s all about the coffee and what the marvelous brew can do!

If you took a Computer Training for Physicians, Palm Seminar or worked with me for any length of time, you know I am all about the caffeine (in moderation) but how does anyone start their day without that black gold?
